Get sky chanels in the UK

I have a motorised dish and a technomate receiver, so I can receive FTA chanels on Astra 2D. How can I get Sky packages on my receiver? Can I just buy a card from somewhere in the UK? What kind of card? or do I have to but a sky box?
 
You do not say which technomate stb you have, if your stb has a cam slot you could if I am not mistaken buy a dragon/Trex cam and buy a Sky subscription and use the card in the Dragon cam, but you will have to park the dish on 28.2 degrees every night to keep the card updated one thing is for sure you will not get Sky for free as you appear to be asking.
 
I don't think a Dragon Cam can receive the stay alive signal for a S*y card, so you will need a digibox to update the card every few weeks, I think the Dreambox has this ability, but I'd check it out first.
S*y usually have promotions, approaching Christmas, free installation, half price subscriptions etc., but you will have to have the digibox connected to the telephone line for 12 months.
The good news is that I think you're allowed 2 dish installations, under planning regulations, so you can have a mini dish for S*y and still keep your motorised for more choice.
 
Thank you all for the replies. I didn't mean getting sky free. I just want to get it neat and clean, with just one STB, one dish. From you reply it seems pretty hard to do it that way. Can I get it from a dragon cam?
