It is amazing what you can learn here in a few days. From knowing nothing except Sky is on something called Astra I am now planning a motorised sytem. Could someone tell me the difference between "Go To X" and "USALS" or are they the same? Tks.

Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Yes, it's the same thing - receiver software that finds the satellite positions automatically - provided you've set your motor/dish up correctly.
