Hi,

I have just bought a Inverto Black Ultra Quad LNB HIGH GAIN - IDLB-QUDL40-ULTRA-OPP and I'm now looking for a good quality dish for FreeSAT and maybe Sky dish, and need some help on selecting a god quality dish.

I don't know much about LNB's and dishes, but is it possible to buy a good quality LNB and Dish to stop the bad picture while in heavy rain, if so I think I've got a good quality LNB, I just think I need a good quality dish, not sure about size or shape either.

Hope you can help,
Thanks
Best regards
Scott

Sorry, forgot to say a price, I'm looking around the £50 mark.

Is the Triax TD88 88cm Pole Mount Solid Dish any good?

cheers
Scott

The TD88 is not a bad dish, although have never liked the elevation bracket on them, I prefer the Fracarro Penta 85cm.

go for a Fracarro Penta 85cm dish as they are less likely to attract attention from neighbours and you can get them in brick red colour. you can add a motor to it later if you fancy going motorised.

the triax dishes i would avoid as the elevation bracket is awful, I wont buy one again.

I'd second those comments, the Fracarro Penta dishes perform very well.

Either of them will give pretty much uninterrupted viewing from 28E.

yes the penta 68cm maybe better option if you only going to use on 28east, i have no problem in any weather on zone 2 dish of similar size up in yorkshire.
