I think my first drive was a 49 MB Seagate SCSI, it may have been the smallest of the lot. Failed to spin up in the end (could be coaxed by little rapid rotations to spin platters slightly).Still got a 160MB drive that was in my Amiga somewhere in a box....
you could use a few and create a nice RAID [emoji4] that should speed things up a bitNo - I get handed a lot of old computers to take apart for spares
I never throw anything away that might come in useful and no-one wants 40 & 80GB drives these days..
