[QUOTE="pgh13, post: 1000502, member: 191774"] SWMBO has a hobby of painting small pieces of furniture. She picked up a box at a car boot over the weekend. It's pretty knocked about, but on closer inspection, it's a case for a Columbia disc Gramophone - minus all the innards and horn, so it's probably 100 plus years old. You can still make out the label transfers on the sides, but the mounting holes for the various bits of metalwork have been crudely filled in and the veneer is chipped at the edges. Any thoughts?
