I agree with you dig deep, I have been using it for a couple of years now - no problems.
 
Its a nice lightweight easy to use app, some of the other developers have gone way overboard with bells and whistle on their products.

It can burn DVDs too AFAIK.

I have been using version 4.2.1 and it doesn't have a DVD burn.
Will try the latest version 4.2.3, as it seems to have a DVD image burn according to the website.
 
HB13DISH, version 4.2.1 does have the DVD burn, used it last night!
 
How does it compare to Imgburn?
 
I have not used IMGBURN, but looking at the sreenshots on their site, it looks a little more complicated than CDBurnerXP, but they are both free, and if they do the job I am sure either would be fine.
