Griffin encryption on 39E???

Round on 39E, Ahtinasat and Bulsatcom have started using Griffin encryption. What the hell is Griffin?

PS: Athinasat stopped transmitting in March 2008. They didn't managed to continue their business.

Bulsatcom is the only provider that use Griffin on 39e as far as i am aware. They also use Bulcrypt which should be pronounced very carefully as not to upset people
