I'm a satellite virgin I think I would call myself although I do have Sky+ already!

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CONTACT ME WITH REGARDS TO THE INSTALLATION OF AN ALL SINGING ALL DANCING SATELLITE SYSTEM ??!!!
I've contacted local people already who have advertised in our local freebie newspaper but all said that they didn't do installs for a motorised dish etc and one co. quoted me £1500!!!

Basically want to be able to pick up ALL of Europe and the Middle East and anything else that's FTA - dish 1m+ I think and of course all the necessary things that go with that!

£1500 is about the going rate for a system that picks up all of the ME channels, as you would need a steerable system above 2 metres in diameter.

Everything from the Middle East:-googly, that would require a massive dish but there is very little Free To Air and the days of keys and patches are over. For such a big dish I cannot really see you getting planning permission unless you have a well hidden field or a very big garden which is not overlooked by neighbours or the nearby racecourse and does not detract from the the beauty of the Minster.

And yes my garden is massive literally and all my neighbours are fine - one is a radio ham and has a mast in his garden!!
