Basically mine is erm.... not working i.e not going to 0 so was going to buy a new one but seeing first if anyone ha one kicking around they would like to part with first for a lower cost plus delivery.
 
The last time I looked at the particular thread, good converters to proper motors were very rare on the ground.

Saying that I do have three here, but factor in the cost of modification/cable runs etc.

Icecrypt...... But multiple receivers the motor just is not aligning to 0 on the motor anymore gets to about 1mm out but is not 0. Buttons on the back are not working either which is making alignment hard.

I would of done if I could of housed the 36v convertor

Have you got a decent proprietry reset system (Johansson), or one of the earlier Satlook analysers ?
 
Nope prob cheaper to just by new motor then a new meter I guess.
 
Think I have a old TM54xx.... So will give this a try as I feel like this box could work. Will report back

Try and see what happens, you still haven't confirmed what is driving the dish outside.

I still have a couple of dark motors here, fully tested and functional.
 
O it is a AB pulse 4k, so a chineese type box running enigma2 SW. I will let you know when test over the next few days
 
Brill, Ok so have stepped it west to get it bang on 0. So looks like I will just need to have a play for new year, I will just go with multi lnb for newyears chasing

You could adjust the Longitude in the setup menu, start off a half degree W or E away from your actual location to realign the arc.
 
Well seems like the technomate has reset it and we seem to be all good now. Tried in my handheld receiver also so pretty happy.
