Is that a trick or treat ?

LOL, I'd definitely pay up!

So, it was very quiet on Halloween so I wandered down the road and there's this house with kids biles in the front garden so I picked one up and knocked at the door. Bike in one hand, hacksaw in the other.....Trick or Treat! No sense of humour some people.

I had a fully primed "super soaker" behind the front door. Sadly for the 16th year running no-one appeared :D I'll give them trick or bloody treat :D

Seems to be a sad affair over here, at least in my neighbourhood. A couple of cars draw up with mum od dad looking miserable behind the wheel while their tots knock on a few doors. Invariably no-one answers (including me), or a few words are exchanged and a sweet or two handed over.

What started in this country was exported to the USA, where it was taken up with gusto. Culture differences I suppose.

Talking to a friend in Coventry this morning....apparently some kids around there got mummy and daddy to take them to Kenilworth (more up market) and managed to make £30

Halloween takes on a capitalist mentality ?

I thought it was all about pigging out on sweets and annoying people ?

Are you advocating cannibalism, CH?

I love ambiguity, me.

I know where to put a comma in, or leave it out, (or do I ?) ;)
