Advice Needed Hardest satellite

No sign of 4W here whats the strongest tp at the moment

A combination of dish size .. and a little too far north - .... i think it is probably just out of reach for you

i can receive the first 3 transponders that Moonbase listed - using a 1.2 meter Channel master offset, but only by a small margin here in north west uk today in poor weather ..... . no chance with 4th transponder on the 1.2 dish

Repeat scan today of the same frequencies with a smaller dish (1.2m Unicorn PF) found the following:

1. 12297H, SR45000, 9.3dB.
2. 10806V, SR30000, 9.1dB.
3. 10722V, SR30000, 8.3dB.
.
.
13. 11140H, SR30000, 2.0dB.

So much better reception with this sat for you in the south :-)

I,m fully 2.0 db down on all those frequencies up here on the same sized dish .

Yes, location in the UK seems to be important for Amos 3/7.

I also managed to lock a Middle East beam frequency on 11062V, SR4500 at 3.9db even though the weather was poor.
However, that was with the Precision 2.0m dish and that frequency only needs 2.7db for a lock.

12297 H 45000 83% SQ Star Light Media
12340 H 17900 71% SQ Ukrkosmos
12354 H 3333 48% SQ Romanian TV
12410 H 20830 61% SQ Ukrkosmos
 
4.0 west Amos-3 ===== SQ
10722 V 30000 T-Home 71%
10758 V 30000 Teszt V 68%
10806 V 30000 T-Home 75%
10842 V 30000 T-Home 69%

11335 H 8000 AOL 15% no change.
 
The best that I con do here in South Yorkshire on 4 West is one transponder.
12297 H 44993 7.9 dB 63% SQ

There is a sharp drop of signal level to the north and west as per my footprint link in post 42.

The frequencies used by Amos 7 will be almost impssible to capture much beyond the middle of the country.
 
how to add new satellite between current list say i want to add 4w between 0.8 & 5
when i add its on top always any idea @octagon sx88+
