Hardware vs software blind scan what is the difference and which is better.
 
Hardware always determines the absolute limits a blindscan can operate

Software is how the hardware deals with the scan.

Much like putting an excellent driver in an old banger, will win races for years, before some novice with funding and a different engine has an advantage, for a short while.

Technology progresses, but there is always a Millenium Falcon crew to throw spanners in the works.
 
a proper hardware BS search with the corresponding driver installed for the tuner uses the cards hardware, results are often quicker and more accurate.

software BS scans are slower and may even miss out certain TP's - and just not as good a search, but it does what it can bless it
