Veteran character actor Harry Dean Stanton has died aged 91.

Starring in over 100 films and TV series in his long acting career, perhaps some of the best-known films he appeared in include Paris,Texas, Pretty in Pink, Cool Hand Luke and many more over the decades.

Still acting to the end, R.I.P Harry.

He was one of the lesser role actors in Alien that really stood out for me. I didn't realise that he was that old.
