Has anyone lost BBC 1,2,3,4? It seems a lot of my channels on 28E have gone. I am wondering if they have moved again but can see no mention of it on the usual websites. Its only 28 that I have a problem with so i don't think its my end, help! is something amiss here?

Qiute a few BBC channels changed their video pids last week. Delete them & rescan the transponder(s).

I had the same probem on my topfield, rescanning sorted it out. Not all receivers need to rescan the channels, the Aston wamba 311 didn't need a rescan.

Ah in which case I apologise martinw01908, gave you a bit of a bum steer there. :). I hadn't been reading previous threads on the subject and it isn't a problem with your gear, just a pid update required. :)

Just start a channel search on astra again and BBC will be back.

Shouldnt make any difference for the BBC channels as they are fta. You will have lost the pay channels as the card will have missed its "Stay alive" authorisations

I am having the same problem with 2a & b North Beam - I thought it was just because I was living in a marginal area. After some time the channels return on their own (1 day to 2 months) I will try to rescan the channels.

I thought the post meant the Astra 2d fell from the Sky. That would be a great day
