Hi Guys,
I have a 1.2 m mortised dish with a techno-mate dual horn lnb living in the south west of Uk. Initially i was getting astra and eutelsat channels. After the recent storms I am getting only Astra channels.can someone help me to readjust my dish.

Thanks in advance

Is the motor actually moving the dish? Are you still receiving the Astra channels at the same signal level as before?

Yes the motor is moving the dish.
Signal level 80-90
Thanks

If you move the dish slightly using the receiver's motor controls are you able to improve the signal quality on Astra channels?

How many satellite positions were you receiving before the storms? If only two as you mentioned then it sounds like the motor wasn't well aligned in the first place. Most likely something has moved in the wind (motor on pole, dish on the motor, or the pole the motor is mounted too. It is worth checking all cables and connections first.

a monoblock on a motorised setup?

The dish may have been knocked out of the arc of the Clark belt by the storm, check the mounting mast to be sure it's absolutely vertically level left to right, front to back, if it's not properly aligned you may get one satellite but miss the rest.

Photos of your setup may help us a bit.

Hi Azumo,
I have checked all the connections ,the allignment i am not 100% sure ,still no luck,
any advice thanks

Please post a photo from the front & rear of the dish. It may be best to get an installer to look at it if you aren't sure what you're doing.

any advice thanks
Please post more information.
E.g.:
- Is "a techno-mate dual horn lnb" in fact a monoblock LNB? Or what is it?
- Do you do motor control with Diseqc 1.2 (GotoNn), or with USALS (GotoX)?
- Do you receive the 19E channels at the usual motor setting, or did you have to change anything to get 19E back?

can someone help me to readjust my dish.
- Did you set up your motor yourself, initially?
- Did you check the motor setup guides; including the fine-alignment instructions? Have you already tried, applying them?
