HD receiver advice

Yes, post #18 was also placed into moderation which I have now approved minutes ago.

Several posts can go into a moderation queue, normally new members using certain words.
 
Ahh, hadn't quite worked out what made things trigger the moderation, apologies for jumping the gun!
 
not sure i can mention what site it was on...i just did a search...glad you pointed out there is a 100 and 100e. i did notice the lack of ports on the 100e
 
I checked the forum rules and can't see where it says you can't... just put a _ in front of the url I think? Otherwise let me know what search terms you used and I will take a look because my normally good Google skills let me down looking for it!!
 
i just did a search on google, 2nd page, 6th down..but not spanish...czech/polish i believe

Which receiver did you go for if any? ferguson...openbox? and if you did what is your opinion of it..I want to buy a cheap hd
receiver and wanted to know what your thoughts were

After weighing up the pros & cons of a S10 (and almost going down that road) I, ironically, settled on the Technisat HDFS! I had a play with a non-Freesat receiver and decided that it would be easier for "normal" people to use something they are more familiar with. I have a spare 16GB USB stick so will bung that in there so they can watch Coronation Street later/pause TV etc
