This is the one I have been using for years and has been working well but just between adjacent rooms; so I don´t know how well it´ll behave in longer distances. Good price on Fleabay. I paid more than that.
Search for Philex 27988R AV Video sender system.
You will need scart connections.

Not used them I'm afraid, but have been to several properties where they've tried them with little success.

HDMI senders can be quite expensive, make sure you get one with a HDMI loop through if you want to watch in the first room also. Like mentioned above they can be really hit and miss. Look for ones using 5Ghz range, these are less susceptible to interference from around the home.

As an installer and if you can run a cable, buy a HDMI over CAT5/6 solution or use a HDMI amp and HDMI cable if it isn't very far. HDbaseT for the CAT5 if your budget allows it.

Not tried HDMI over coax either I'm afraid, too expensive for most customers. The decent ones work out at £300 plus for a pair.

I've tried 2 different sets of Nikkai hdmi senders. The range is absolutly rubbish. I'd say about 20m maximum line of sight. If you're going through brick walls, forget it unless the tx and rx are close. They also compress the video and is noticeable on large television.

Decent coax makes a good pull wire for a length of Cat 5 cable.

(round and round we go)

Thanks rolfw and hixxy1, did look at the nikkai, thanks for the heads up. Did see a HDMI wireless on the French telemagazine with good results but can't find it again. Wasn't that expensive.

And I also would like to add something to my previous post. If you still need a help I can recommend you another product from connection lab: http://www.connectionlab.co.uk/product/connectionlab-hdc-05-premium-5m-hdmi-cable#content

Now, I don't have it myself, but one of my mates has it and she said is really good and she is so thankful to me that I recommended her this brand. Common, you get a good quality for a good price. I think is worth trying :)
