Heavy Duty Wall Brackets

My Satellite Setup
Several Receivers, Motorised CM 1.2m dish, Hybrid Titanium Smart Lnb with CM feedhorn, 80cm Triax with Stab HH 100 Motor, Golden Media GM202 Lnb and a Zone2 minidish, Dur-line Unicable II Lnb.

Ok I seem to be struggling to find a set of heavy duty wall brackets that will take a 76mm pole to put my recently purchased channel master dish on.

I currently have a 1.1m triax dish with diseqc motor on a scaffold pole (2") using an 18" T&K mount, as it has to go just above the guttering to get past about 8°w.

With the channel master I will need to do the same thing, as I am hoping it will travel atleast as far as my current dish (58°w - 57°e).

But as the channel master dish, with a 3m long 3" steel pole, polar mount and 18" actuator weigh a fair bit more than the current setup I know the T&K brackets will not be up to the job.

So does anyone here know where I can find some brackets that are upto the job, without costing the earth (i.e not that superstore place).
 
You need a set of heavy duty spider brackets that will take a 76mm mast, not cheap though :)

Google: Double mount with legs "above the gutter" for dishes up to 1.2m. 76mm pole. 450mm stand-off.

...or you may be able to get some fabricated.
 
The Channel Master 1.2m will sit right onto a 3" pole. I would go KTK on the brackets, then you could drill a new slot in each bracket to accept the 3" U bolts for the 3" mast. There is a fair weight to the dish as you know, so you need to be sure that everything is well fixed, that the brickwork is in good condition. I would consider re-fixing the brackets with Resin Anchors, through the cavity. For greatest strength, have the brackets spaced so that the pole above the top bracket equals the length of pole below it. i.e if you mast is 6ft above the top bracket, the bottom bracket should be 6ft below the top bracket, and place the T in the centre.

Yeh i've seen those, but don't really want to spend that kind of money on 2 wall brackets unless I really have to.

Will T&K brackets be strong enough though ? I mean the dish with polar mount and actuator is heavy, let alone the steel pole it has to hold up too.

With good quality brackets, and correct installation yes, absolutely. I've worked on a couple of 1.2 CM's mounted this way.
