Hellas Sat Vs Hotbird - Rik Sat

Is it just my imagination or is the picture quality on Rik Sat (12111/V/27500)a lot worse on Hotbird (having just appeared on this new transponder) and the audio really awfull comapred to the same channel on Hellas Sat (11146/V/3333) ?

Has anybody got bit-rate meters on their receiver's to prove that on Hotbird the PQ is a lot worse ? I don't need any meter to tell me the sound is so bad, but I'm not sure whether my receiver autotuned the audio pid and it's not quite right and needs tuning ?
 
The bit rates on the 13E version are:

vpid - 2800kbps
apid - 64kbps

Cant tell you whats happening on 39E - I dont have that one here.
 
Can check RIKsat 39e tomorrow with Bitrate Viewer plugin.
 
On 39E, it's the same video bitrate - 2.80 Mb/s

Audio 196.72 Kb/s - better than the HB rate.
 
Thanks to everyone who has replied so far. Ok , so my eyes have decieved me, but my hearing seems to be spot on.

The audio quality at Hotbird is a fraction (third) of what it is on Hellas Sat. What is it with them ? can they not afford the extra sound bandwidth on hotbird ???

there's also such a bad backround hiss noise , not sure if it's becuase of the low audio bit-rate.
 
Having checked, the audio on 13e for Riksat is 65kbps and 191kbps on 39e (as above).

Certainly low quality audio.
