Help Dreambox 500s keeps loosing picture and sound sync

Please can any one help me? I new to dreambox, I have a 500s clone and are having problems every ten minutes or so with the picture and sound loosing sync and have no idea if there is a simple setting that needs changing can anyone help as im fed up with having to quickly changes channels to solve the problem for another ten minutes or so.

Also does anyone know how to get sky box office to work?
 
I know the answer to that question.

Somewhere in the menus is a checkbox with fast channel switching or something like that on it. Make sure its unticked. The default is to be ticked.

If i remember rightly its in the expert settings somewhere. Been a while since i had a 500s :D

Thx Nano, the only thing i could find that maybe what you are talking about is enable fast zapping so i untick that and it seems to be working, well has done for the past half hour anyway.

What would you say would be the best image for my box and how do I get epg to work for longer than just now and next program?

Now now children :D

I used to use PB Enigma V0.7 or S.I.F 1.9.3c on the one i had. Seemed to be about the best one at the time :cool:

Keep clear of Gemini above ver 4.3 as it will most certainly brick your box at some point if its not 100% genuine.

Both Powerboard and S.I.F images have been updated since i had mine so they are probably worth looking at :-idea
