With an "FTP program" you can read and write your files in (Linux) root and sub directories. I hope thats you know this modality of transfert files ???

In var/ sub-path Scee and Keys !!!!

Sorry bat i don't remember exatly, bat the right subdir is scee for AU/T*P*S* and keys for the s*o*f*c*.... and other.....:-thumbup

Simply.... (example ... use a FlashFXP)

user=root

password=dreambox

ftp port=21

ip Serv or Usr= your IP-setting Dreambox Lan (ex... 192.168.0.2)

Depend as your ip class server-router/hub or simply ip lan pc (ex...192.168.0.1) subnet-mask in this case is 255.255.255.0 (for class C).
Of course You must setting in avanced setup of your Dreambox CVS the correct value ..... same the example up.

Remember to connect the Dreambox with lan across cable only if you use directly connection with a lan PC.

Now .... to connect .... the other is very simple to understand ....:-window

Use DCC For your ftp programme and the user name is ROOT and the password is DREAMBOX

Did you fix it? If you didn't, try this simple method:

Open internet explorer

enter ftp://192.168.0.1

(replace "192.168.0.1" with your Dreambox IP address, set in the EXPERT PANEL).

user: root
password: dreambox

Put the keys into either var/scce or var/keys depending on the emu that you are using e.g newcamd put keys into /scce, if using camd3 put them into /keys

dcc. save keys to a folder. start dcc, ftp to dreambox, click on
var folder, you'll see two files, one keys one scce, send keys to key
foler, and the scce to scce. re start emu.
