help needed from israel

My Satellite Setup
i have a 80 cm sat dish with a topfield reciever(tf6000f)
My Location
tel aviv-yafo,israel
need help from members located in israel to help me know where to buy a 150 cm offset dish and lnbs like inverto black ultra or technomate yellow. i have 130cm jackson offset dish with zinwe quatro.with that i can get all the astra 2b tranponders + hte 12480 on 2a north.i also get the the 11508 of e.brd 1 steerable from 1 to 3 am. the signal is very weak with a lot of pixalisation. with the same installation i can receive more than half of the astra h+1 of the astra l. on astra 23.5G, i get all but the 11914,11992 and 12168 wich is very odd since the signal on the rest of the astra G is very strong.

Congratulations on receiving those signals on such a small dish.Do you get a very strong signal from Astra 2b as i want to upgrade my dish to receive these transponders .I also receive half the tpx on 1h and some from 1G in cyprus.

Sorry i cant help you where to purchase a dish.If you are stuck then some uk suppliers deliver to israel

i don't receive strong signal in tel aviv but the good thing about israel is that we don't
have windy condition. all the transponders that i get are watchable 24/7. the weakest
ones are the 11817 and the 12480. 26% quality in day time .in night time they can
go up to 38% .all the rest are 40% during the day and 56-58% at night. do you get
astra G@23.5E? especially the 11914H ,11992h and the 12168v. i never succeded
to get them even though i get the rest of the G with 62 to70% quality on my visio-
net 2100 hd. that is why i want to get i 150cm offset dish. in israel satellite dish dealers
don't sell this size of dish bcz there is no market. i hink in cyprus you do have dishes of that size can u help me with details. on my next thread ,i'll list all the sats i get
and those i can get.

Im not in cyprus at the moment but i know i get a borderline signal on some tpx with my 80cm.I havent really bothered with this sat so i cant remember the tpx i received.I get the same from 19E 1h some good signal some nil.

There are some cypriot insallers on this board maybe they would deliver your 1.5m.I have seen some dealers in the uk who deliver to israel at a reasonable price.

I'm still trying to work out the smallest dish required to receive some of Astra 2b but the installers in my part of the island arent very helpful.I was hoping to get away with a 1.2m but it looks like a 1.4m should do it

Very Nice report. Since I am in Jordan i would say we have similar coordinates. I am also using a zinwell twin lnb on a 3.4m dish. The info you provided is 100% accurate, I guess our location are very very similar. I had no idea that we can recieve the astra 23.5 east in our area. Thanks for the info. I suggest you contact Inverto directly to see if they have any distributors in Isreal, I know for sure we dont carry inverto or technomate in my area. If I see any helpful info I will make sure to pass to you.
 
Thank you mobutu very much. Without you I wouldnt have known that I could recieve 23.5G east in Amman-Jordan. Signal is very nice and stable. Im using 1.80cm dish on 23.5G.
 
Just remembered Astra 3b is launched tomorrow for 23e.The widebeam is quite impressive and covers israel with a small dish so a dish upgrade might not be necessary.I think everything off 1g will go onto the widebeam of 3b.
 
Just a reception report from my area for two tps of astra at 28° East

11508 H 17.1 db S/N very strong signal
12480 V 12.2 db strong signal ( thanks to side lobe )

i was wondering if you get all the transponders from astra G. with my 130cm offset
dish as i wrote in my last thread i'm not able to get the 11914h,11992and the 12168.
it is really troubling me since i can even get transponders in dvb-s2/8psk.until
yesterday i was enjoying the dutch hd channels as they were fta.
do you have 150cm offset dishes in jordan? coz i'd like to try the 36E sub-saharaen
beams. i do get some signal on the 11862h but not enough to be locked on my receiver.
i'm dying to get the 12015h.it carries a radio channel from my country of origine
(congo-drc). the 150cm offset with a strong lnb wil help me get i wish ;the E-bird1
steerable beam.more transponders on astra h,l and the M(eurobeam).

my system is composed with: topfield tf77oohdpvr and7700hsci,visionet 2100hd and fs-3100,sting ir-200 for ip-tv. i have 9 dishes(2/1m,1/1.2m,6/1.30m) on the roof.
my wife calls it the mushroom field.
 
i've forgetten the 28.2e:all the 2b,all the 2Asouth,1 of the 2A north(12480) and
the 11488v,11508h from e-bird steerable between 1 and3 am( non lockable)
 
Hello Mobutu, on these transponders on Astra 23.5G 11914h,11992and the 12168, I get zero signal. I am using a 1.80m prime focus dish. So forget these three transponders on 23.5G. As of the 36east I had trouble recieving any signal but will try again.
