help new and no sound

hi i think i have found hotbird and got some channels very happy just need to find thor so i can setr up my motor. however i can get pictures but no sound is there something im missing please help thank you
 
Could be several things wrong.

Scart lead not properly inserted at one end or other.

The Dreambox sound may be turned down.

Check the system settings in the Dreambox that it is set for PAL I.

Press the Audio button and see if there are different options which work.

you can adjust the volume on the DB as well as the audio output device.... ;) I'm thinking the DB internal volume is right down?
 
hi i take it you mean by the dreambox remote. i have tried that no sound ive also checked i have not got it on mute from remote still no sound. its really annoying me now especially as i think i have found thor. anyone got any ideas what im doing wrong thanks
 
well guys thanks for all the help it turned out to be a fault with the tv. i decided to swap tvs just for the hell of it and wow i have sound. just got to brave out this image stuff and see what happens.
