You are well out of coverage area for Nilesat and we know the fringe reception is very variable on Nilesat.

I don't know, but the pictures of LNBs that you posted are for offset dishes. You need to get the correct feed for your dish and that probably uses a C120 flange LNB.

@Huevos,
i got the lnb, but my friend told me that the 180 cm dish is too small to pick-up nilesat frequecy bcos we are out of the footprint.
am from nigeria, plz any help

1) Move north 1000 miles nearer the Mediterranean

2) Invest in a MUCH bigger dish (no DONT ask how big - we dont know - its all guesswork - there are few forum members living in Nigeria)

3) do without.

gurus see my question:
NSS 7 - 22.0° West with this type of frequency 3644 R 27497, how can i input such frequencies with right (R) and left (L) in my receiver or check this site to see the frequency your self.
=http://www.sathint.com/nss-7
thks

Nigeria is on the 38dBW line so you need a 1.8m dish and a circular polarity C-band lnb.

Which channel(s) do you want?

all MBC channel(s) eg mbc1, mbc2, mbc3,mbc4 e.t.c
thks

Those channels arent carried on 3644R at 22W :confused:

In fact no MBC channels are carried on 22W at all .

@Analoguesat,
you don't get me, mbc frequencies are on 7.0°W Nilesat 11938.00 polarity: Vertical, symbol rate: 27500 and 7.0°W Nilesat 11766 H 27500.
but what am trying to say is that NSS 7 - 22.0° West has something i dont understand, their polarity are (R)(L) RIGHT, LEFT. how will i input them on my receiver?
that is my question

You dont.

There are 4 types of polarity

H = horizontal
V = vertical
L = left hand circular
R = right hand circular

You need special lnb's to get the circular stuff.

Technical details can be found on wiki if you are particularly interested.

thks for your time, am very happy for been among of all GURUS.
thks
newton appreciates..............

good evening friends,
plz i will like to no "What type of foil, gum and paint should i use for satellite dish" fiber type

hello friends,
pls help me with those pictures i uploaded here:
can the fuji lnb work with a fiber dish?
is that c-band?
can the c-band lnb work for my fiber dish?
can that foil for my fiber dish?

1) The Fuji will work to some extent although as you have already been told to get maximum signal collection you probably need a C120 type lnb.

2) The Supermax lnb is a C-band lnb, no idea if its for circular(L/R) or linear (H/V) polarization

3) Probably - try it and see!

4) No idea what the foil is for - put it in a cupboard somewhere safe!

thanks for ur time,
can u help me post the picture of the C120 type LNB?

Hang on - having two threads running at the same time is hopeless - let me sort them out.

Please only post one thread for one topic.
