Hi all guru out there
I have a Philips DSX7072 Sat receiveer and would like to upgrade the firmware.
before this, the unit is being supplied as a package for my home country SAT channel (ID 20-21)
i'm wondering if i can upgrade and "open" the receiver to received FTA channel, rather that the unit sitting there.
i have search the net and via the google translation i'm still unable to get the full information. this is because most user do not read / understand english.
please give me more infos, links etc on this
i know that i can use a DB9-9 cable to hook up the receiver to the PC and do some mods on the receiver (open the receiver )
