Help Please With Channel Saving

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox 500s
Echostar 3000
My Location
north yorkshire
I need your advice please with saving channels, it’s when I have searched the channels say on Astra and then I move the dish say to Hotbird and do the same again. The problem I am having is say when I have gone back to Astra I don’t have the saved channels I did before. How do I save the channels, every time I go from satellite to satellite hope you can help me please, I am still very much a newbie.

Are you storing the satellite position before scanning?

I am very sorry for not getting back to you, when I did the Auto transponder scan it found the channels and I came out of this setting and went to where the channels had been found.
 
When you exit the ch scan, you have to save before exiting. You can download a ch list and use flash wizzard to throw in your dreambox. Then you wont have to wait ages for the scans to finish.
