Hi There

I'm a newbie to this D2Mac stuff.

I have recently been given a Europlus D2Mac Decoder, but don't know what that is.

Could somebody please explain to me exactly what is D2Mac and how can I use my Europlus.

I have Sky Digital.

Many thanks

Hi Steveh,
d2mac?, those were the days.
There used to be a time when you could get tv1000, filmnet and other scandanavian channels on astra 19.2 degrees east, using a d2mac decoder(+ card) connected to your analogue receiver, unfortunately those days are long gone now, and d2mac(eurocrypt) is pretty much dying out, although I believe the odd channel or two
are still going. Have a look at lyngsat .com, and look at frequencies on Thor 1 degree west.

There are also three transponders left on Sirius, but unfortunately the Europlus box will not run with the digibox, you will need (more or less a complete motorised system and analogue receiver / combi - to see these channels.

Stick it in the loft
