help upgrading euromax nec 5000 stb

please help me! i have latest patch software dated 30th dec 2004 to get tps and multivision ok, but download file is rar extension. how can i load this file to receiver, what is best loader to do this. should file be bin . what do you choose on loader, program, data or key data.
very confused please help
