Help with rescan

Hi I did a rescan on a technomate 5402hd to get box nation and now loads off foreign channels have come on lost hd channels. Anyone tell me what I've done wrong thank you . I'm only using 19.2e
 
Right how do I get rid off them. I did have a motor dish but had it took down the other day and had a fix one just for sky and did a scan. Does this mean I can't get box nation and hd now. Haven't got a clue thanks
 
You need to get the dish aligned to 28E. If you still want 19E as well then either another dish or, if current dish is large enough, a second LNB on a multi LNB arm.
 
You can get HD channels, as your receiver is HD, but you will only get those on 19.2E. Depending on the size, of your dish, you might be able to add a second LNB, and a Diseqc switch, to get both 19.2E and 28.2E.

Right ok thank you , sorry to be a pain but can I scan it just to get all the sky channels only or do all these channels automaticity come on and then you have to manually delete all the ones you don't want thanks
 
You can't get Sky UK, not unless your dish is pointing at 28.2E, on 19.2E you can get Sky Germany. Check how to manually scan in the channels, on your receiver, and use the link provided, earlier, to check the channels you can get on 19.2E.
 
Once you've realigned the dish, do a factory reset and delete channel list, a rescan will then only bring up channels from Astra 28.2.
