Afternoon everyone, Let me introduce myself, I am a "newbie" to the dreambox scene, after looking into the wonderful world of Dreamboxes for the last few months I finally got myself a Dreambox 7000 and a Dreambox 500 from the beloved eBay!! I am currently running Gemini 2.80 with Newcamd 6.09 Complete & MGCamd 1.00 Pre10 Complete + configs all downloaded from the blue panel With the downloaded configs, NewCamd started and my Sly UK card inserted in the top slot of my box all works well!! BUT Here my troubles begin, a bank holiday weekend has been spent and a relationship put on the rocks!! I try to run NewCS 1.14 for Windows with my Phoenix programmer set at 3.58Mhz, my Sly card inserted and the XML and config files on the PC and Dreambox configured as per the standard cardsharing HowTo... I start MGCamd on the dreambox, NewCS states that a MGCamd user has logged in and there seems to be information flowing between the box and PC BUT the channels dont clear. As soon as I revert back to the standard config files and put the card back into the top slot of the box again the channels clear! Any ideas where I am going wrong? Am I fighting a losing battle with WinCS and MGCamd? Any help would be much appreciated!! Kind regards, A man on the verge!!:-DOH!
