My receiver PremiumX 2000 JAB, Universal Twin LNB, and a 24" diameter dish.
My Location
Philippines
Hi to All,

i'm just a newbie , i bought a complete set of satellite package in Middle East, but my location is in the

Philippines. I've a two receiver a HUMMAX and a PREMIUMX .

Could anyone can help me the idea on how this things work! I Would really appreciate any help from you

guys... need some advice guys

This are list of my package:

PremiumX 2000 JAB
Universal Twin LNB
I/P : 10.7 - 12.75 GHz
O/P : 950 - 2150 MHz
L.O : 9.75/10.6 GHz
N/F : 0.3db GAIN : 70db



NEED SOME ADVICE GUYS, PLS. HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM...THANKS....
 
what satellite are you trying to receive?
how big is your dish?
you may be out of range to receive this.
just because one has a box and subscription does not mean the signal will reach you.

You will be able to use it to watch channels on any satellites that are in range of your current location. You wont be able to watch any of the Middle Eastern stuff as the satellites carrying them will be below your western horizon.
 
That's 60cm so there'll be no exotic satellite searching.

ok we need to know what service you want to watch.
what decoder do you have and what service is it for.
example:if you had sky tata decoder you can not watch orbit middle east.
now with a 24 inch 60 cm dish you are limitted.
if you tell me what service you have payed for i can see what size dish and if it is available.

i just want to all the channel in cable channel like (sky cable, destiny cable or home cable ) instead of getting a installation of these services...
 
Really can't see that you've got much chance of getting all of that for nothing and as we are predominantly a Europe based forum, we cannot see the same satellites as you, so can offer very little in the way practical help. You would be far better finding a more local forum.

If you want to watch cable tv services the satellite receiver isnt going to be any good to you.

The signals that are transmitted to the cable headends are invariably secure encrypted often in a super secure encryption called power vu.
