My Satellite Setup
technomate TM-6900 HD combo.technomate TM-2600 super diseqc h-h motor.1 metre fracarro dish
My Location
uk
I have a VU+duo setup aimed at astra/hotbird the problem im having is if i switch the box off at the back then switch it back on it starts to load vix then the sat at top left corner flashes then the dish moves oover to another satellite can anyone tell me why that is

The box will revert back to the last known motor position it has stored in its memory if it is just switched off a the back.

If you shut it down using the correct shutdown procedure it should store the last position in memory that it was looking at. When it restarts it will then go to that position.
