Hi

Guys

Just had a look into your Beams from lyngsat and i think they are outdated specially the Europe one.

As i have been to africa in countries like Angola and Mozambique and they can pick up provider TVCABO hispasat 30w with a 1.5/1.8M Dish clearly.

And i even heard some rumours of some people in some areas of Brazil being able to pick up signal with 2.8/3.0M dish

Yours trully

Those footprint maps are drawn up by the operators, and are best guess maps drawn up from the specifications of the satellite when ordered.. You often find satellites perform slightly better than expected.

Also with extreme fringe reception you sometimes find odd things happening in some areas, with reception possible in locations you wouldnt expect. Thats part of the joy of this hobby :)
