After a speedy reply from everyone last time I thought I would ask another question.

I am now part disabled and sometimes suffer from temporary paralysis. This generally means led up in bed or confined to a chair somewhere in the house. I love to watch the TV so I was wondering if there is a way to get Sky distributed around the house with control?

I am not talking about defrauding Sky or doing anything illegal I would just like to perhaps cut back on one of my multi room boxes and using a distribution system. In particular I have RUK on one box but they want £7.50 :eek: extra to have it on other boxes.

I know of a Triax Tri-Link (thanks Google) but is this what I need?

Lounge Sky HD
Bedroom/Medical room Sky+ (inc. RUK)
Children's room Sky

Can anyone help on this please? I have a friend coming to visit soon and he's a Sparky so he can help with cabling.

with and or any generic IR amplifier / system.
 
I know it's a bit late but i spent a lot of time looking at the options and ending up going with a generic HDMI matrix splitter box (cheapeast off eBay) and the magic eye thing (so i can use the remote in another room but the picture comes via hdmi instead of the rf cable).

I thought i'd be limited in terms of hdmi cable length but 15m works flawlessly (again, went with the cheapest cable i could find)
