No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

How well does it do in the winds though? :confused

But, 10/10 for an ingenious idea... :D

Great! I really like these "Heath Robinson" set ups. If it works don't knock I say.

1 GigaBlue Quad plus, 1 Dreambox 5620, MOTECK SG2100A DISEqC Motor, 120 cm noname offset dish, Humax 95 cm offset dish and a few UK digiboxes.

Can be problematic in wind but because of the portability of the dish I tend to position the dish on a side of the caravan which protects it from the wind or I erect a wind break around it.

What's the base filled with? Could you fill with something heavier?

Base filled with water. Could use sand but when towing a caravan the emphasis is keeping the payload low.
I have also used a giant staple which can be secured over the feed arm and pushed into the ground to stop the dish being blown off direction in very strong winds.
