i AM ABOUT TO PURCHASE THIS METER AT £799.OO + VAT. What are the reports on this and would there be anything better out there for around a grand thanks

Had a brief look at the meter at a recent show, looks good for the budget.

I did have the the horizon plus before this but for some reason after about 16 months it decided to go funny on me ie wen aligned on astra 28.2 it wouldnt find it and the signal/quality bars were on 40%. So thought id spend a few quid and get one that does both sat and terrestrial. Any idea on who can beat £799 + vat price?

Having refreshed the thred I'd like to ask if HD-STM is worth to change my Satlook Micro HD over to the Horizon tool? Regardless DVB-T feathures is it more accurate and reliable powerful tool?
I could not find any HD-STM tests or reviews on the web. Maybe some of you have same experience with the meter?

Yes the Satlook Micro doesn't measure terrestrial so not a like for like comparison. The Horizon HD-STM would certainly make a good purchase as a combined meter.

That is why I'd like to compare DVB-S/S2 measurement capabilities.
