So first it is hotbird10 then its changing to atlantic bird 4a A.K.A noorsat 5 then back to hotbird10

As for the beam we just dont know at the moment. Id guess that is going to spread out much further westwards than AB4 does, just because of the massive coverage area the late series Hotties are designed for.

However we just dont know at the moment. Eutelsat are being very cagey about the "Atlantic Bird 4A" operation.

interesting....what id gave to catch some kind of beam from 7w :)

I dont think any of the showtime services are going on it just a replacement for atlantic bird 4 at 7.2w as far as i know most of the channels on that satellite are arab fta,

Yes indeed - if anyone is hoping a lot of the Showtime channels are going to move forget it - not going to happen.

However, Hotbird 10 is no longer at 4.2E and its time to put this thread to bed - we will start a new one when she is lit up at 7W.
