How 2 delete channels in Dream Box

I want to know that how can i delete channels in dream box so that they never came back again as i have notice that when i deleted them by using edit channel tool or manually then after few seconds they came back again when I connect my DM to internet & put any channel of that frequency from which I removed some channels. Is there any way to stop this process. I am Using Gimni project version 4.0 & i reboot my Dm every time after deleting channels but no success yet any help in this regard will be appreciated
 
One of the advanced settings stops the auto addition of new channels when you select on a channel on the same frequency. However if you delete the channels they WILL come back if they are still on the tp when you rescan the satellite or frequency

Cant remember the exact route but on my 7020 with one of the old Gemini images on it I think its on the green button options somewhere - you need to untick the box that says something along the lines of "update service names"
 
I got this option in my current image too & it is not checked too but again they came back plz find some solution for me
 
You can delete channels permenantly

1- Menu
2- Setup
3- Expert Setup
4- Untag Disable autoservices update OR Services name update and OK
5- Delete Channels
6- Stop for 3 sec an Reboot now

I already done this but they back again & again after deleting them
 
Good morning,

i have read somewhere that to edit channels, you have to perform such operation through bouquet list(s). So, editing from the main list is null and void.

I also did this thing but they again back even I delete the satellite.xml file but it again reback the file & channels too

what he said to you here is right but there is one thing you need to make sure you are doning
when you want to delet a channel make sure (you do not press ok on it)
means select a channnet and from the mune chosse the channel you want to delet just by delet no by ok button and after that make sure you rebot don turn it off or they will come back

There is no way to delete permanently channels on enigma2 but you can use an unusefull satellite and scan manually only the frequencies that have the channels that interest you. This way you will not see again the unwanted frequencies as the database has not them (but even in this case you cannot delete some channels on a frequency and keep others, it works only with unwanted frequencies)

So what is the solution then?Should I change the image?If yes then in which image & version this option is disable??

This is the right way and it work fine, no doubt.

Hello

When ever you need to delete a channel, on the TV mode press yello button ,the channel list will appear,select the channel you want to delete, press menu you get displayed "service menu" inthat you have many options,select delete menu press ok, the channel will get deleted .Press green buton your chaneel list will be updated.

This what I did when I deleted channels.
