Ordered 2 MTI AP 8 TW lnb:s a while ago from a German satshop called satstore24.de owned by a guy called Rainer Hengstl located in Vohenstauss Germany.

The shop has many url:s but you always end up at the satstore24.de.

Looked like a reliable shop with SSL,paid with my VISA online and got a mail the same day saying my order was in progress.

After a few days i recieved a mail saying that my package was sent.

After a while I thought it had been taken too long time for the package to reach Sweden so I sent them a mail and asked what was wrong but they didn't answer.

After a few days i mailed them again saying the same thing but no answer.

Today I finally recieved the package but when i opened it there wasn't TWO MTI lnb:s like I ordered, instead there was ONE Invacom SNF 031 !!!!!!!!

When they are out of stock on a product you order they send you some shit just to send you SOMETHING! Unbelievable!

I know that 1 Invacom is more expensive than 2 MTI:s but you can't cut it in two pieces and use it on two dishes.

Don't know if I will bother sending it back because i might get nothing back and I'm too f*cking tired of this already and they know that, that's why they behave this way.

Anyway I won't order from them again.

Any other experiences of this webshop?

Have you checked on your Visa statment to see what he has charged you for, If its wrong get in touch with your visa company and ask them what they intend to do about it.

Hehehe....they don't care, they think a LNB is a LNB, same shit, same functionality.

They are only after your hard earned money, he probably didn't answer because he didn't cared.....

Complain to VISA. You should get a refund, and you may even get to keep the Invacom. It'll take some time, but you can't let these people get away with it.

Thank's to both of you! Had never thought about the opportunity to complain to Visa.

I will mail the shop on monday and give them a chance to send me the right lnb:s and if they don't answer I'll contact Visa and complain.

I have nearly the same problem with a shop called Astrasat.nl in the Netherlands.

I ordered a steel floorstand with a pipe. I specified i wanted a specific height of the mast and the right diameter, eg 1,20 meter high and 60 mm in diameter, no problem they say and i pay the money to their bank.

I picked up the package today when it arrived and opened it and was a bit schocked to discover that they haven't sent what i ordered, the mast was only 0.7 meter high, the diameter of 60 mm was right but the stand was too large to fit on my balcony.

I emailed back today and said they sent me the wrong product and i wanted to ship it back to get a refund or the right product, their answer was that they told me they haven't done anything wrong and i can forget about getting a refund.

I have all emails left from the time i ordered and showed them exactly what i specified, they still says it's my fault and they sent what i ordered, they seem pretty stupid or they are just fooling me around.

What do you do with people like this? this is heavy stuff, it weighs like 18kg.

I can't really believe that people like this exists out there trying to cheat on people.

Weeks later nothing has been delivered.

Rainer Hengstl is obviously a very clever business man.

Avoid at all costs.

If you have paid by credit card, then there should be no problem in recovery if you make the right noises with the card supplier.

Some of the many guises of the aforementioned company (just for your info ), though I did not know they had moved into Swedish territory

Can we have a section on this forum dedicated to dodgy dealers? so other people can look at the list before they order something. I nearly ordered my motor from one of the urls above.

I recommend www.satfuchs.de

They are good and deliver, however they are not very good in answering emails.

But they do deliver the right stuff in time.

To follow up on the Astrasat.nl issues i had, it has been solved now.

I threatened the company to take them to court in EU Comissions of EU Consumer Rights Laws in de Haag.

After that the company sent part of my money back so i could fix the floorstand here in my country.

Everything went well and the issue was sorted.

I have had an issue with this store too....bought a motor and dish arrived late but that wasn't the issue..I left the dish for a few months before I got around to installing it..but after a test hook up to the reciever just to move it back and forward the motor siezed up...I have sent several mails to this store but as you might have guessed no reply..what come back do I have..unfortunately I had a colleague who is an electronics expert open it up so I'm assuming this has voided my warranty!!!

Maybe if you have an expert/repairer give you a written estimate to repair it (or write it off), and something in writing to say that it's a manufacturing defect it might help your case. That would certainly be the way to do it under UK law if you reach a stalemate. How did you pay for it?

If by credit card, they should be able to either apply pressure, or refund you directly. I have my doubts if this would include CC via Paypal, but it might be worth a try.

You could say that you only had the expert open it up to prove it was faulty after they refused to answer your mails (assuming you haven't already told them you've opened it).

You could also write them via snail mail recorded delivery? Address it to the MD!

I've a funny feeling RH-SAT is a one man band, so addressing to the MD won't make that much difference.

Also, I think the 'MD' of RH-SAT has disappeared of the face of the earth at this stage. His web-site is up and running still but I'd guess not for much longer......

Take all snapshots of the site right now, print them and store them for the ensuing court case.

Do not wait for later...

No problem about members mentioning when they have had bad service from a company but we couldn't add a list of 'companies to be avoided' on the site as that could leave us open to criticism or worse. Opinions on any matter by members is always 'their' opinion and not necessarily that of the site owner.

1.2m & Inverto 23mm 0.4db
I had problems with http://www.rh-sat.de as well. Ordered a 23mm LNB from them and a 40mm arrived. On contacting them was told to return the wrong one, and the correct one would be sent.
Nothing arrived. I gave them numerous emails then a final warning to reply otherwise I'd contact my card issuer. No reply came so I handed it over to the bank, who refunded my money within a week. Still out of pocket on the return shipping charges though. Avoid like the plague.

On a positive note. Still looking for a 23mm LNB I contacted Inverto in Luxembourg, who produce a 23mm 0.4db model, but unfortunately it's not available in the UK. However, they immediately posted one to their agent here, who forwarded it on to myself.
Brilliant service, and the LNB works like a dream as well.

What is wrong with that company? what are their interest in shipping the wrong products to customers?
