how do i improve the signal quality

pls i live nigeria and am having problem with my aljazeera sport channels of +5 to +10 especially at night time. during day time the signal quality is 45% but when it is night it drastically drop to 20%.

Could be any number of things starting with local interference & normal extreme fringe variation in signal.

As you havent even given us the most basic info to work on (which satellite are you getting the signals off for starters!) no-one can give you any better help.

pls am i to face the dish towards west 9i.e using nilesat 101 & 102) or to face it east 9i.e using hotbird) in order to receive the best quality signals of aljazeera sport channels both at day and night time

am using strong dish of 3.5m, nilesat 101 and nilesat 102 . the signal a bit okay during day but at night it fails especially those o +5 to +10 channels

I would guess that Nilesat would be better for you out of those two, but Arabsat 26 East may be better than those. _http://www.arabsat.com/pages/BADR6.aspx

The biggest problem is the fact that you are way outside the foot print for those satellites, and after doing some checking I find the same is true for all the rest that carry the aljazeera sports channels, and seeing that you are using a 3.5 meter dish I cant tell you to use a bigger one, that may prove to be too costly.

Perhaps you could post up a photo of your dish in situ. Maybe someone will spot something that could be improved.

check the cable connections to make sure temperature differences aren't having an adverse effect.
