How do you cardshare

I have finally setp my box and luckily have been able to connect with someones server to get a number of channels. Now that I know what is achievable, I was thinking of buying a card myself so that I can reshare but unsure how to do this.

For example if I subscribed to S*Y and my card was in the S*Y receiver, how is it possible to use this to share through my linux box? Sorry if this is a stupid question but cannot get my head round the next stage of sharing.
 
Thanks for the confirmation. I have another question on how things work as follows

If "A" had S*Y and was to share with "B" who had N*VA, they would be able to both watch S*Y and N*VA. If "A" wanted to also share with "C" who had DI*ITALB and "D" who had PRE*IERE would all 4 be able to watch the 4 packages (if allowed by each user).

Please advise if this is how things work.

Also, if "A" uses an M2+ card, would that allow the channels opened by this card to be shared?

If each person had a c line and an f line (if using Cccam) off each other they would be able to watch and share any of the four packages at the same time if they wanted to.

Can't advise you how things work until we know which emu you are intending to use. Cccam, gbox, mbox, newcamd for example all have different protocols. Which emu are you intending to use?

Yes it would, but these cards usually cause more problems than they are worth.
