I need to ask a lot of questions from the ground up (I dont know my 4rse from my elbow) and am looking for somebody clued up who I can pay to get me upto speed from Raw feeds to Dreamboxes and what gear does what.
I understand that you want the questions on the forum but simply some wont be answered and there are so many of the others it will take months to go through it all like that.
I am hoping to drop in, find a consultant pay for the service and get out-any advice?

You need basic grounding and understanding before you start playing with dreamboxes.

Remember - discussion is a 2 way process, you learn something, your helper(s) hopefully learn something.

No-one is going to spend hours and hours giving you a crash course in the entire spectrum of the satellite hobby even if you pay them.

Now you seem very interested in the feeds - does this make you an in run betting chappie by any chance??

I might not take the hobby too seriously at times but I never joke about forum operations and procedures

The thing is although I dont know a great deal they are very specific issues that I need to address and as you have already got the gist, they wont get addressed properly on the forum, besides I dont want to be a hobbiest looking for waky foriegn channels for the hell of it (presumably thats what all this is)
Im happy to contrebute towards the christmas bash if you get my drift.
Why dont you get intouch you obviously have my private details
 
My advice do not waste your time, many before you been there done that got the car sticker
 
So, for starters.

Do you have a dish ?
Do you know what it is ?
Do you have a receiver ?
Do you know what it is ?

What channels have you found when you turn the TV on and use the remote control that changes channels other than the BBC ?

What does the box not do that you would like it to do ?
 
My interest in the geegees doesnt stretch any further than wondeing if my nag will make the second circuit in the National or wether Ive wasted my pound again.

To be honest Ive heard it all before with respect to in run betting. Over the years Ive been approached at least a couple of dozen times via my web site with promises of huge amounts of cash if I help the bod at the other end of the email. Im still waiting for that first cheque to arrive that will allow me to retire :-rofl2

Ive put some info up somewhere with regards to the feeds - I'll see if I can find it.
 
I maybe new to this forum but Im an old hand at the In running been there from day one. I have quite a bit of info regarding what the situation is and how to get to the raw feeds but it means little to me.
I have only at present all the 'regular/HD/sports etc' packages through SKY and even playing behind 4-8seconds delay still make it pay (yes I am that good):toke:
The equipment-any-that is required I will have.
With regard these approaches, did you not get the cheque because you couldnt help?
