How many operational dishes do you have?

I'm curious why people would want may differing dishes, wouldn't either a motor or a multi LNB setup be easier to maintain?

I'd got given most of the stuff for free over the years and decided to put it to good use. They were lying in the shed and under the hedges getting in the way :D

Currently:

2 x 1.5m primefocus - 90E and 40E C and Ku
2 x 1.2m ofset - 75E, 19-13-5E
1 X 1m ofset - motorized, 53E-22W
1 x 60cm ofset - 42E

one 80cm motorised, i dont know why people need more dishes?

Which showoff has voted 10 or more?? :D

Someone who neglected to note the qualifier "operational", at a guess!

(Not me, guv .................. )

None... :(

Nowhere to put them, so, they're mostly gathering dust and rust... :(

1 x Zone 2 Raven with Quad LNB for "£ky"
1 x Raven 90cm (ground mounted) with 7 LNBs receiving 8 sats (mostly eastern)
1 x 1m Orbital dish on Moteck motor (receiving mostly western satellites)

Those that don't count include a Lidl special 80cm.

It will be very interesting, to know what dishes and for which sats being used by these 5 and 6 dish owners.

1. 80cm Motorised plus Twin Output LNB on south facing wall: General purpose multi-sat use in Living Room for HD and in Main Bedroom for SD (Motor Control from Bedroom Box)

2. 1.1m Motorised on Patio Stand: Experimentation and Feed Hunting

3. Zone 1 Minidish with Quad Output LNB for 28E only: UK Channels available throughout the House

4. Old "Analogue" Dish with Monoblock for 13E/19E: Other European Languages for the sole use of ones wife

5. Zone 1 Minidish for 5W: A late addition to also enable the wife to watch French Digital & Analogue from AB3

Also, in the case of the two motorised Dishes, these are separately located due to arc coverage problems at earth station Tivù.
