The simplest things can turn out BAD!

Egg/Cress Butties on the menu for tomorrow lunch, so I put the Eggs on in a pan of boiling salted water, set the minute timer to 8 mins and popped into my shack.

Got engrossed in searching for a Holiday Cottage for a week's house-hunting trip in Dumfries & Galloway and forgot about the eggs.

So, after about an hour at full bore, the pan boiled dry and the eggs had deposited themselves over a wide area of kitchen!

Fortunately the cast-iron pan survived.

Good idea, but the kitchen is full of stuff that rarely sees the light of day already!

We have Egg/Cress probably three times a month and this is the first time I've seriously cocked up.

I think it's true men can't multi-task effectively. Time division multiplexing is best left to ones better halves.

Hmm.

I'll get Googling on that one!

So far I've come up with a constituent Island in Trinidad And Tobago and a reference to testicles.

I assume I've yet to unearth the correct answer.
