The only hardware blindscan card I am aware of is the Skystar V2.3. Its not made anymore and they are getting hard to find. You can do a blind scan with your card in Transedit but it is a software blind scan. You need to input the parameters and it is very very slow, not really useful if you are expecting blind scan like a stb delivers.

have anybody tried blind scan as given help in link?

will it really work?

No live links, read the rules krishn.

Yes, I do use it occasionally, but as the previous poster said, it is very slow, particularly if your parameter variations exceed a hundred or so - which will be the case if you want to scan a sizeable portion of the tuner range.

If using for feeds, best to try just one or two most-used feed SRs at a time to cut down the time taken. 27500 and 22000 SRs on the majority of broadcast satellites will keep you waiting until kingdom come.

Hi Krishn...
As Starman has already told you ..
The only hardware blind scan pci card ever made (afain) is the Skystar2 Rev2.3 (SSD) only ..
No longer made ..and getting hard to find second hand..
