Will the new white card work directly in the eagle slot(dm500 clone0 or do need to buy smargo reader

No, it is not capable of reading gamma cards. Actually, it tries but there are errors and freezes. This combination does not work yet, unless smargo get this fixed with a future firmware update.
 
Got the Smargo today so started the B16MCC tutorial. Problem. The attachment listed from Dreambox Tutorials. When I try to access Dreambox Tutorials it says 'Closed'. Is the website shutdown. Can anyone identify somwhere else Ican download attachment Thanks


How To Setup The Smargo Smartreader+
Here's a tutorial to setup the smargo. Its recommended that you use this option for any NDS3 card as the card operates at 3.3v and the internal reader of a dreambox runs at 5v. It may ofcourse be an option for other cards too. That information will only come from cimmunity testing. Please respond if the smargo reads a card that failed in the internal reader.

Duh, ignore. I went to the Argolis site and got the latest software. Have to admit it wasn't an easy fit getting the Smargo into the USB port at the back of the DM800 as the network cable is tight up against it. Anway looks good so far

I'm also looking for the driver to configure the smartreader+ under XP, but the Argolis web site doesn't work (the download page return me an error).

Hi All just bought a Smargo and amazingly worked first time ( Big thanx to bi6mcc once again...you the man.)
can some one tell me what frequency to run my jsc aljazeera viacess card at as my ecm times are around 150ms to myself, whereas before it was about 10ms with internal..

Hi, can anyone guide/check my configuration as my DM-800 with Gemini 2 is reading a card on SMARGO but ECM is not coming what i have done wrong,,,,,sometimes its also come OFFLINE as well.........plz help
