How to upload general satelite

My Satellite Setup
satellite antenna for 2 satellites/astra and hotbird and digital satellite reciver General Satellite FTA 6900,computer p4 win xp sp1
)(-redwhen ever i try to upload new firmvare i got stuck if any one know how to do that i would be grateful.The reciver is General Satellite 6900.

I believe your receiver has a RS232 port and I assume you are trying to download to that via a PC. Could you give us an idea of the procedure you are using please. the name of the Web site for the files and what cable you are using to link to the PC.
