With the new footy season fast approaching I am trying to decide which is the best route to take to watch EPL games.

I have a Tring Plus card that expires at the end of August and am thinking of upgrading my receiver but the choice is vast, DM800HD, Openbox S10, Vu+ etc. with the 'hobby' seemingly getting more complex with Linux type boxes do I go cheap or top end and struggle with the IT side of things and end up bricking my new box?

Is it possible to get EPL games via these boxes and will I end up paying a third party for server access etc.?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The Vu+ boxes are popular at the moment and plenty of the regulars on here have them.

If you want EPL matches you will require a subscription - we will NEVER recommend pay servers - many of them are run by organised criminal gangs looking for an easy source of income.

Havent checked the exact prices recently but last time I looked they seemed to range from about £200/year to £2000/year if you want all games in HD.

Also AEPOC are really starting to clamp down on commercial servers, here's the latest seizures: _http://www.aepoc.org/index2.htm

Some of those press releases are VERY interesting :D

The police focus their investigation on the accused in view of commercial piracy but did not rule out that also the individual clients who purchased the illicit subscriptions could have to fear consequences:
