HUMAX Foxsat HD will not accept a postcode??

Freesat connection from community dish. This Humax box will not accept any postcodes, so cannot search for freesat platform.

"Postcode invalid" message same for several different live postcodes

Anyone have similar or a solution please.?

Have loaded the non-freesat platform and ALL channels are located and good quality, so do not think it is a signal problem. Suspect the software in the Humax Box.....Problem is there is no red button service or the freesat EPG.

Have you got the correct syntax for entering the Postcode?

I seem to remember there is some faff regarding the juxtaposition of the two main elements ie To enter a space or not to enter a space - and how!

Just set Humax HD box up for a friend.
Entered postcode with no space and it worked fine.

Thx for the reply. On screen instruction requests space after first part of the postcode. Have tried entering both with and without space....no joy

Yes, that's what I vaguely recalled, but the linked page suggest a space is needed

I'm sure our friend will persevere and crack it, though

Have decided the Humax FoxsatHD box has a software problem. Checked another box at the same connection and the postcode loaded without a hitch.

Hope the supplier can reload the software or replace the unit?

Well you can load software for yourself direct from the Humax site if you want to try it yourself.
