We mustn't forget the Haitians, too.

At least 800 dead, and massive devastation.

Oddly enough,
We mustn't forget the Haitians, too.

At least 800 dead, and massive devastation.

I could not find a working webcam on Haiti, (nor at Freeport in the Bahamas), which is strange

They have to be basic as the warnings cover a raft of regions, many of which have American English as a secondary language ( and where proper English rarely appears above the parapet)

This Florence storm has been talked about on local television for several days, and has also been in the national news a few days. Doubtful the Atlanta, Ga. area will see much except rain, but the storm is expected to be the biggest to hit that part of the East Coast in at least 3 decades. Major evacuations are announced with all lanes of major roads being reversed in order to get more people out.

Florence has been hanging around for a fortnight, she still has around five days of energy storing to do, possibly seven.

The media haven’t mentioned the low pressure inside or the ‘sustained’ maximum winds running around the centre.

Isaac looks to be quire a dangerous follow up storm.
